There's
alot of thumbnails so chill out and let 'em load.
For those of you who don't know - GMA stands for Gospel
Music Association. Once a year they have a big convention/schmooze
fest in Nashville, TN called GMA week. This is where all your
Carmans and Curtis Chapmans of the CCM music industry hob-nob
around all week yapping with people from radio stations, video
programs, magazines, labels, and other industry stuff from all
over the country. Most artists attend with the hopes of furthuring
their career... as for The EG - we pretty much go to goof off
and try to find ways to sneak ourselves into various country music
videos. So this year, our cool friend Katie (you don't know her)
lent us her super rad digital camera and we have decided to document
the entire trip with retarded photos. You know you're gonna love
it. Click the thumbnails!
DAY 1 & 2
riding in a van for 22 hours and our arrival to Nash-vegas
where we hooked up with our managers - Real Boss mgmt.
Day 3
registration and hooking up with old friends.
Day 4
doing interviews and goofing around
Later that night our management
had a big showcase show with all their bands (including EG) as
well as some guest bands. The evening went: Altogether Separate,
Satellite Soul, Considering Lily, The Echoing Green, Jason Ingram
Band, and Moriah. Our show went well - we played 4 songs (Thief,
Defender, Hide, and Safety Dance). Jesse couldn't make this trip
so we borrowed Luis Lux from Stereo Deluxx for the evening.

Day 5
more interviews and goofing around...
then we got hungry and went to
this Thai place...
then we hit the town to catch
some shows & see some friends
the highlight of the evening
was watching our pals in Skillet rock everyone into next week.
Day 6
The last day of GMA week. We had some meetings and
chilled during the day then we played a late night show with Scott
Blackell.
